With its panoramic outlook over the River Garonne and the Bordeaux landscape, this new black metal level designed to fit the industrial character of the building, provides a large floor that houses the two architects’ firms opposite each other and their shared meeting rooms. “The acoustic challenges of the space became apparent once we were installed”, explains the representatives of Nadau Architecture. “Too many echoes, a sensation of emptiness. We wanted to keep the lighting already installed, which is part of the design of the space. By combining Texaa’s Stereo acoustic panels and Stereo Air open-mesh panels, we were able to keep what we had created here and settle the acoustic problem once and for all. The solution fits in perfectly with the overall design and reinforces our firm’s architectural slant.”
