Cleaning

The fabric which covers your product and which we manufacture in our workshop, has been knitted. This makes it very robust. You will only need to clean any stains that may occur. Here are the different steps to clean different types of stain.

 

Ordinary cleaning

To keep the fabric’s colours fresh and bright, regular cleaning is recommended:  
— Remove dust with a soft brush and vacuum cleaner once per year
— Use a clean absorbent cloth to soak up liquids
— Clean soiling and stains quickly before they dry and become more difficult to remove

 If the stain persists, follow the instructions below. 

For water-based liquids (tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine, etc.)

If the stain has penetrated the fabric, use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust from the soiled area. Then, rehydrate the stain by dabbing the marked area with one hand using a cloth dampened with clean water, and dry the area with the other hand using a dry, clean absorbent cloth. If the stain persists, repeat the process using water and a little soap.

 

For oil-based liquids

Dab the stain with a clean cloth dampened with undiluted solvent-based cleaning fluid. Remember to fold the cloth frequently, so that the stain is always in contact with a clean part of the cloth’s surface.

 

For semi-solid stains (butter, ketchup, etc.)

Remove any remaining solid material with a spatula and proceed with the cleaning method detailed above for oil-based liquids.

 

For dye-based stains (marker pen, biro, ink, etc.)

Dab the stain with a clean cloth dampened with a solvent such as methanol. Remember to fold the cloth frequently, so that the stain is always in contact with a clean part of the cloth’s surface.

 

In order to avoid the formation of rings, clean stains and marks from the outside towards the middle, and then use a hair-dryer to speed up the drying process.

 

If your product is badly soiled, we advise you to proceed as follows:
— Carefully remove all dust from the fabric
— Machine-wash the Aeria cover using a low temperature programme, such as for wool, do not spin-dry, dry the cover in the open air sufficiently stretched out to avoid creasing.
— If the fabric is creased, carefully iron the cover using a damp cloth at a moderate temperature.  Never allow the plate of the iron to be in direct contact with the cover.

The covers of our products can be changed and some of our fixing systems are available by request. Our customer care managers can help you with these changes so that your needs are met in the best possible way.

How can I get a quote?

How can I order Texaa products?

Our products are manufactured in our workshop and made available to order. Just contact the Texaa business representative of your region. If you already have a quote, you can also contact the person handling your order: the name is at the top left of your quote.

How do I get my products installed?

Joiners and upholsterers are the best skilled to install our products easily. We work regularly with some professionals, who we can recommend. If you have a tradesperson, who you trust, we can support him/her. You can find our installation instructions and tips here.

Can I have an appointment?

Our business representatives travel every day to installation sites and to see our customers. Please feel free to contact them and suggest the best dates and times for you, preferably by e-mail.

Lead times

Our products are manufactured to order. Our standard manufacturing time is 3 weeks for most of our products. Non-standard products take from 5 weeks. We also perform miracles on a regular basis! Please feel free to contact us.
