Texaa has always opted to focus on the aspect of craftsmanship in its activity. To be sure of keeping quality and delivery times under control, all Texaa products are made by Texaa employees in the Texaa workshop in greater Bordeaux. The company sources its supplies regionally or from inside Europe.

The workshop in Gradignan just outside Bordeaux is the single origin of Texaa products. Nearly half Texaa’s employees, around 20 men and women, work there. Every order for Texaa products is unique and is manufactured to order.

The products are made to order one after the other. The workshop never works for two customers at the same time. Every order is finished before moving on to the next. Every item is individually inspected. Even product packaging is meticulously carried out to suit each product and its future implementation.

The building was designed by the Arsène-Henry & Triaud architectural firm and was extended to house the developing business.
Here is where the Aeria fabric is knitted. All Texaa acoustic solutions are designed, tested, manufactured, packaged and dispatched here.

Product quality and workplace ergonomics are the two fundamental organising principles of this workshop. It has always been Texaa’s vision to implement local, in-house production processes in its own workshop to manufacture exactly the products required.

Processes under control

A section of the workshop is reserved to produce the Aeria fabric. The yarns are first warped to make them uniform, then knitted using a proprietary process. The fabric is then washed and treated to make it water-repellent. Every metre of fabric produced is inspected and freed of impurities.

The other section of the workshop houses the different operations that are involved in making the acoustic solutions and their covers: making backings and frames, lamination or glueing to sound-absorbing materials, sheathing, sewing fasteners and fittings.

Joiners and upholsterers are the best skilled to install our products easily. We work regularly with some professionals, who we can recommend. If you have a tradesperson, who you trust, we can support him/her. You can find our installation instructions and tips here.

Lead times

Our products are manufactured to order. Our standard manufacturing time is 3 weeks for most of our products. Non-standard products take from 5 weeks. We also perform miracles on a regular basis! Please feel free to contact us.
