Reducing reverberation

Texaa’s solutions address sounds emitted or heard inside a volume, irrespective of its size. Texaa products are used to meet specifications based on measured performances and speed up the decay of reverberation by absorbing sound waves. In this way, each sound occupies its own place in the room, acoustic comfort is established and spoken words become easier to understand. This works in rooms of very different sizes used for many different purposes.

Architectural acoustics

Sound reverberation refers to the phenomenon of how sounds are reflected inside a room; it is quite different from the intrusion of sounds from outside the room. For the former phenomenon, the solution is to absorb the sound; for the latter, the answer is to insulate the room. The idea of combatting reverberation by absorbing the sound was coined and first described with a general formula by Wallace Clement Sabine. He is considered to be the father of architectural acoustics, which Texaa addresses as a business.

Dedicated reverberation chamber

Texaa has facilities and equipment with which its own teams can perform tests and measurements in order to develop better products and provide designers with precise calculation tables. Analytical reports of implementations are made available for every context.
Sometimes, the reverberation chamber is also used by engineering consultants for their own studies.
