Reception areas

Reception areas

High quality reception areas directly influence how welcome visitors feel. The way the acoustics of the area are handled is a direct contributor. Depending on whether the area is in an office building, hotel or station, the regulatory requirements and challenges in terms of materials are very different. Texaa’s product range offers a number of differentiated solutions to suit these contexts, depending on the functional requirements of the sub-areas in them.

Transition areas

Transition areas are in-between spaces where the acoustics are handled in such a way as to prepare users for the conditions of the space they lead to. The systems implemented can contribute to a kind of “acoustic signposting” in a building, especially to direct the flow of people and influence a change in their behaviour. Reverberation should be handled in these areas according to their intended use and in line with disabled access requirements. Texaa products offer many ways to meet these objectives.

Reception rooms

Their different uses and modular design require agility, because the challenges to be met are many and sometimes divergent. The whole volume and the possible sub-areas and their changing layouts have to be taken into account at the same time. The acoustic challenges of such rooms can be met with the wide variety of solutions offered by Texaa, and the different ways they can be implemented with their range of shapes and colours, while contributing to architectural quality. Some products also serve to separate or close off areas and even contribute to thermal insulation. Their durability and ease of cleaning are additional plus points.
