Stereo acoustic panels

Stereo acoustic panels

Stereo panels are designed to be positioned in volumes. Pioneered by Texaa, this technique of improving the acoustics of reverberating spaces using objects, has gradually become a standard in the world of architecture. The panels can be vertical, horizontal, suspended or stood on a surface, singly or connected in clusters. They can be part of the architecture of all types of space to address overall sound reverberation, and area by area.

Their metal frames and the way in which Stereo panels are made, ensure strict geometrical shapes that suit your design perfectly.

For suspended panels, the hanging system includes small cylindrical covers for a perfect finish.

Mounted on supports on the ceiling and walls, Stereo panels of different colours can discretely add variety to a space.

With their high quality finish, rich colour range, simplicity of implementation and many combinations, Stereo panels offer designers a very wide range of possibilities.

Stereo panels can be used to visually separate and differentiate the acoustics of various sub-areas within the same volume.

Stereo acoustic panels used as partitions suspended from the ceiling on cables that run through them and are anchored to the floor.

By analysing the special needs of a project and being able to make to measure in its workshop, Texaa can develop, supply and guarantee fully bespoke solutions.

Composition and installation

Every panel is made with a rust-proof steel frame, sound-absorbing wadding and a microporous cloth, wrapped in a removeable, machine-washable cover made of our Aeria sound-transparent fabric.

The steel frame, manual fitting of the cover and Aeria’s capability to fit any shape tightly make it possible to tailor geometrical forms with precision to the requirements. Depending on use, the cover protects one or both sides of the panel.

Panels can be easily installed with magnets or suspended. The delivered product is light and simple to use. The panels are hung on cables, whose length is easily adjusted, or fixed with a system of magnets.

Stereo panels are modular and their cover can be removed, which prolongs their useful life. Covers can be replaced or the panels fitted with new fixing systems to be used in different arrangements.

Variable dimensions: widths from 300 to 1,200 mm and lengths from 600 to 2,400 mm.
